SolarWinds® Serv-U® file transfer solutions are built to support enhanced security options offering peace of mind. FTP over SSL is an extension adding support for the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and its replacement, Transport Layer Security (TLS). Serv-U allows you to use either an existing SSL certificate or create a new certificate. Serv-U supports TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2, as well as 15 new cipher suites (including Camellia, SEED, SHA, and GCM) to facilitate key exchange, bulk encryption, and message authentication. You can also enable low-security SSL ciphers as needed and can disable SSL or TLS support to help ensure compatibility with outdated systems.
