Serv-U MFT can transfer files over File Transfer Protocol Secure (FTPS) or SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), along with FTP, HTTP, and HTTPS. FTPS connections must be authenticated through a user ID, password, or public key certificate, rely on SSL or Transport Layer Security protocols, and use X.509 certificates for authentication. An SFTP connection requires users to use a user ID and password or SSH keys to transfer files.
