Using Config Compare in Engineer’s Toolset
You can use Config Compare tool to do a line-by-line comparison of the running Cisco configuration file with the startup configuration file. To start the comparison, enter the device name/IP address and its credentials, and run the comparison.
You can use Config Compare to:
- Compare the running and startup in NVRAM configurations of a Cisco router
- Visualize the changed lines (highlighted by color difference)
