SolarWinds has been delivering AIOps functionality for years. As we move to a consolidated SolarWinds® Platform, we have simultaneously developed an AIOps Platform that can be utilized by our different product offerings.

What is AIOps?

AIOps, or Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations, utilizes AI and machine learning to enhance IT operations. The three dimensions of AIOps are Observe, Engage, and Act. It automates tasks, analyzes data in real time, detects anomalies, identifies patterns, and alerts IT teams to deviations. It also conducts root cause analysis and provides predictive and prescriptive analytics.

AI or ML?

AI encompasses broader techniques for simulating human intelligence, while ML is a subset of AI focused on algorithms that learn from data to make predictions or decisions.
