  • Time Travel – Provides the ability to “go back in time” to view historical configurations and use forensics to determine what changed and when for quicker and more precise troubleshooting and performance problem remediation.
  • Capacity Planning Enhancements – Capacity Planning functionality now includes storage IO and network IO, failover analysis for multiple redundant systems, and options to ignore specific resources.
  • VMware vSphere Plug-in – Adds a SolarWinds menu to the vSphere client that allows users to view Virtualization Manager statistics within the vCenter user interface and launch Virtualization Manager modules from vCenter inventory items.
  • New Dashboards – New ‘Host and Cluster Health’ and ‘Showback’ dashboards.
  • New Alerts – 12 new alerts added including ‘Datastore Excessive VM Log Files,’ ‘Host Bus Resets,’ ‘Host Command Aborts,’ ‘VM Disk Latency,’ ‘VM Memory Under-allocated,’ ‘VM Potential Unused CPU,’ and more.
  • New Trends – Added 18 new trends, including ‘Thin Provisioned Reclaimable Space’ and ‘Amazon EC2 Total Cost by Folder or by Resource Pool.’
