In the past, we've been using over 12 different items to track our inventory, to manage our systems, to see NetFlow, to see how the network's overall performing.

SolarWinds had a great package that was a base platform. You buy the modules to add on that you need.

So we started off with IPAM and NCM so we could manage, see what we had out there, see what it using IP addresses that we weren't capturing from other systems.

Within the current system of IPAM, we're able to say, "This IP address is already being used." And not go off and reuse it, and cause conflicts out there, try troubleshooting and say what happened?

Plus, you know, like I said, we had different spreadsheets. Is somebody updating it correctly? Do they put the right information in? Now we have the ability to SEE all that and to be able to monitor it.
