Virtualization Capacity Optimization helps you use advanced search-based analytics to determine optimal VM placement, explore what-if scenarios, identify capacity shortfalls and determine application-specific capacity needs. This helps you determine when you will run out of resources, how many VMs will fit in your virtual infrastructure, the amount of additional resources you need to buy and where you should place new VMs. It also gives you the ability to run what-if scenarios to determine the impact of different modifications to resources.
