Communications Service Provider Saves Millions
After replacing several open-source monitoring tools with the components that make up the foundation of the full-stack SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted solution, a national communications service provider has saved more than $2 million in recurring annual costs. The service provider also leveraged the SolarWinds solution to avoid paying more than $2.6 million in fees for service-level agreement (SLA) violations by minimizing the impact of an infrastructure problem capable of affecting its customers.
These combined savings led to a three-year, $4.2 million return on investment (ROI) in the full-stack SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted solution, which consolidates the functionality from Network Performance Monitor, Network Configuration Manager, Server & Application Monitor, NetFlow Traffic Analyzer, and IP Address Manager, and integrates with Storage Resource Monitor and Web Performance Monitor.
