Supported Devices
with Kiwi CatTools
There are two basic ways the device support in SolarWinds® Kiwi CatTools® works:
General scripts
Kiwi CatTools provides general scripts the majority of network devices will work with and allows you to perform common activities such as running config backups, password updates, banner updates, connectivity login tests, and more. If the device requires script customization to work properly, you can easily adjust it through the script variation Kiwi CatTools allows.
Custom scripts
For devices of various manufacturers requiring specific script syntax, Kiwi CatTools provides custom scripts for the proper execution of activities offered by the tool. Kiwi CatTools supports a wide range of different manufacturer and model devices and works with the most common and up-to-date CLI syntax.
