SolarWinds is expanding its observability capabilities for Nutanix environments with upcoming support for Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP). As more organizations modernize with containers and cloud‑native applications, this integration will give IT teams a unified way to monitor Kubernetes workloads alongside their Nutanix infrastructure—all from a single SolarWinds platform.
This addition builds on our long-standing native API integration with Nutanix, helping teams simplify operations as they adopt both virtualized and containerized architectures.
Unified Visibility Across Virtual Machines, Containers, and Hybrid Infrastructure
Today, SolarWinds provides real-time insight into Nutanix clusters, nodes, virtual machines (VMs), and the applications relying on them. This includes support for multi-hypervisor environments such as Acropolis Hypervisor, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
With NKP/Nutanix Kubernetes Engine support coming soon, organizations will be able to:
- Monitor Kubernetes clusters, pods, containers, and services
- View containerized and VM-based workloads together
- Identify performance issues anywhere in the application path
- Maintain a single monitoring experience as environments evolve
By bringing Kubernetes into the same observability platform, teams gain a clearer, more connected view of everything running on Nutanix.
Security Designed for Nutanix Environments
Alongside observability, SolarWinds® Security Event Manager strengthens Nutanix deployments with centralized log management, automated threat detection, and multi-factor authentication support, including Security Assertion Markup Language and OpenID Connect.
This helps teams:
- Enforce secure access
- Spot suspicious activity quickly
- Automate remediation steps
- Meet compliance requirements
As container adoption grows, having shared visibility across VMs, clusters, and Kubernetes workloads helps security and operations stay aligned.
Flexible Deployment Behind the Firewall
SolarWinds Observability Self‑Hosted—built on the proven SolarWinds platform—can run fully in on-premises or hybrid environments, giving customers the control and flexibility needed for regulated or security-sensitive workloads.
This ensures organizations can confidently support modernization efforts without migrating monitoring to the public cloud.
