Josh Vanhoose

Josh Vanhoose is a Staff Security Engineer in the Architecture and Best Practices team for the Security Operations department of SolarWinds. He grew up in very remote, and very small farming and ranching towns across west Texas. Josh has worked in cybersecurity for around ten years but has always had a passion for cybersecurity. His IT career started as a hobby and then small business working on personal computers, college student laptops, and networks for a few small businesses. Over time and several jobs, he turned this into a career as a security professional. While he does this for a living, he is also an avid outdoors person and enjoys plenty of video games (yes, you can love both).
