Network Topology Mapper (NTM) is network diagram software that can be used to quickly and easily create network diagrams by automatically discovering your network devices.
Manually mapping your network with IPCONFIG, PING, TRACERT, and pen and paper can now be put to rest. With NTM’s support for OSI Layer-2 and Layer-3 network devices, you can automatically discover, map, and export LAN/WAN network diagrams to your favorite format, including Microsoft Visio and PNG.
In a dynamic IT environment, keeping track of network device hardware, servers, desktops, and workstations becomes mandatory, yet cumbersome if you don’t have the right tools to accomplish the task. NTM not only helps you keep track of your network’s inventory, but also maintains a visual diagram that you can refer to and update anytime—allowing you to eliminate unnecessary resource drain.
Automatically mapping and creating highly detailed network diagrams of your Layer-2/Layer-3 network is easy with NTM. The auto-discovery feature can detect any device on your network, including routers, switches, VoIP phones, desktops, printers, servers, and wireless access points. You can scan IP address ranges or define a seed device (typically a core network switch) and discover your network using industry-standard methods such as ICMP, SNMP v1-v3, WMI, CDP, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and more.
After you’ve discovered and mapped your network, the network diagram can be edited to modify node details and connections, and then exported to a variety of formats, including Visio (.vdx format), PNG, and PDF.
Automatically discover network topology using ICMP, SNMP, WMI, CDP, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and more.
Build many maps without having to re-scan beforehand.
Save time on documentation by exporting to Microsoft Office Visio, Orion® Network Atlas, PDF and PNG formats.
