What’s New in Log & Event Manager

NEW in v6.5! September 12, 2018

Log Forwarding

The new Log Forwarding capability is designed so you can use Log & Event Manager (LEM) as a log aggregation point. LEM can now help you normalize, correlate, and forward data to other solutions for further analysis. Users can also identify the specific nodes and log events they’d like to forward.

v6.4 June 12, 2018

Log & Event Manager (LEM) Events Console

The new SolarWinds® LEM Events Console is our first step in moving away from Flash toward HTML5. The Events Console allows you to interact with your log data easily and quickly, including real-time streaming, filtering, and historical searches.

Increased Storage Limit

Increase the storage space available to your LEM 6.4 appliance beyond 2TB.

Debian Upgrade

Upgrade to LEM’s underlying operating system to help ensure that Debian and the required packages are up to date with no known vulnerabilities.

Improved SMB Support

Improved support for SMB2 and SMB3 network shares for backup, archive, connector, and software updates.
