AUSTIN, Texas – September 1, 2016 – SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, today announced it has completed the acquisition of AppNeta’s TraceView™product, a SaaS-based application performance monitoring (APM) product and technology.
The addition of the TraceView technology extends the current SolarWinds® Monitoring as a Service (MaaS) portfolio, which includes the Pingdom®, Librato™ and Papertrail™ products. Now, SolarWinds has the ability to offer a full stack performance monitoring solution to manage everything from the network to the server to the application in the cloud, and positions it as the clear choice among developers, DevOps engineers, and IT professionals with a need to monitor cloud infrastructure and applications.
“We are excited to be completing our APM vision and look forward to investing in TraceView to further enhance its functionality as a part of our MaaS portfolio,” said Kevin B. Thompson, president and CEO, SolarWinds.
Along with the acquisition, the company welcomes TraceView, formerly Tracelytics, co-founders Dan Kuebrich and Chris Erway and members of the TraceView core development and support teams to SolarWinds.
