Configuration Comparisons

Cirrus allows for several different methods for managing change management. You can compare configs between two different devices, compare configs between running versus startup, compare configs between the last downloaded config and baseline config and more. Each change is highlighted for easy viewing. If content has been added the line is highlighted in green and if the content has been removed, the line is highlighted in red.

The configuration comparisons can be performed in real-time by highlighting the two configs and selecting Compare Configs or the comparisons can be performed on a scheduled basis. Alerts can automatically be sent out when configuration changes are detected. The alert can consist of sending an email, printing the results or logging the changes to a file.
