LANsurveyor Express automatically discovers every device on your LAN or WAN, including routers, switches, servers, wireless access points, VoIP phones, desktops, printers, and more. LANsurveyor Express uses industry-standard identification and network discovery methods to scan IP address ranges and find nodes. These discovery methods include ping/ICMP, SNMP, SIP, and NetBIOS.

LANsurveyor Express’s automatic network discovery techniques can identify and scan all network segments connected to your routers—or you can choose to perform automatic network discovery on specified segments. You simply enter the IP address range and SNMP community strings, and LANsurveyor Express automatically starts network discovery.

Once network nodes are discovered, LANsurveyor Express compiles the information into cohesive, easy-to-view network maps with node icons, colored lines representing network connectivity speed, and labels indicating switch port information. Generating a network map has never been so easy!
