Attention NetFlow Traffic Analyzer Customers!
Licensing and interface counts have changed from NetFlow Traffic Analyzer 1.0 to NetFlow Traffic Analyzer 2.0. NetFlow Traffic Analyzer 2.0 licensing has been simplified to match the underlying Orion Network Performance Monitor license. For example, Orion SL500 corresponds with NetFlow Traffic Analyzer NL500. Most NetFlow Traffic Analyzer 1.0 customers will be provisioned automatically for 2.0 if the base Orion version is known. If you are a NetFlow Traffic Analyzer 1.0 customer and your account has not been automatically provisioned, please call Customer Service at 866-530-8040.

Track Rogue Access Points with Wireless Network Monitor...
Go to the wireless tab in the Orion Network Performance Monitor Website. This page will display your "Wireless Networks Summary" page. Then you will see the following resource listing all wireless activity:

This view displays all of the devices that are connected wirelessly and identifies any rogue devices. From this screen, you can monitor who is connected to your wireless access points and prepare for capacity planning. This view displays how many devices are connected and if they are rogue or not. You can also click on IP addresses to see history on how long specific devices were connected to any given access point and view more details on these sessions.

Engineer's Toolset Uses Microsoft Access to Archive Old Data...
Toolset uses Microsoft Access thereby imposing Access' 2GB storage limit on collected network data. To archive old data when Access gets close to the size limit, simply go to C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Engineers Edition and rename the file SWNetPerfMon.cfg to a different name.

Example: SWNetPerfMon04/20/07.cfg.old. Now when you open Network Performance Monitor it will now create a new SWNetPerfMon.cfg file.
