Low Virtual Memory is a message that some Windows® operating systems deliver in cases where the OS has insufficient virtual memory. Low virtual memory indicates that memory created by using data storage borrowed from a computer’s hard drive has fallen below a designated threshold. A low virtual memory warning can be addressed by adjusting a PC’s virtual memory settings or by adding physical memory to the PC.
