LaaS, or Logging as a Service, refers to the process of remotely accessing the system logs of systems in a cloud environment and storing the logs in a central location. LaaS can be facilitated by system monitoring utilities that regularly access and record system logs from designated systems. LaaS allows cloud administrators to have access to log data that can be useful in troubleshooting performance issues or identifying sources or causes of security threats.
