What is DSA

DSA, or Digital Signal Algorithm, is a technology used for digital signatures. DSA is a specific public key algorithm with a secret key that operates on a message hash generated by SHA-1. DSA functions by using a combination of public key and secret key to enable decryption of data to confirm a digital signature.
