What is Cisco IP SLA

Cisco® IP SLA describes technology enabled by Cisco that allows an administrator to set Cisco devices to perform periodic measurements. The administrator can use the Cisco IP SLA data gathered by these measurements to ensure that quality of service standards are being met. Cisco IP SLA data is gathered automatically by configured devices.
