vCenter Server account permissions for VM management actions

To perform management actions from the Orion Web Console, configure the following permissions on the vCenter Server (vSphere 5.5).

Virtual machine > State > Suspend Suspend VM
Virtual machine > Snapshot management > Create snapshot* Take snapshot VM
Virtual machine > Snapshot management > Remove snapshot* Delete snapshot of VM
Virtual machine > Inventory > Move Move VM to a different host
Resource > Query vMotion Move VM to a different host
Resource > Migrate powered on virtual machine Move VM to a different host
Resource > Migrate powered off virtual machine Move VM to a different host
Resource > Assign Virtual Machine to Resource Pool (if the destination is a different resource pool from the source) Move VM to a different host
Datastore > Allocate space Move VM to a different storage

* In vCenter Server version 5.0, the snapshot management permissions are configured under Virtual machine > State > Create snapshot and Virtual machine > State > Remove snapshot.
