Enabling and Disabling Hyper-V Monitoring

Hyper-V monitoring is automatically enabled on WMI nodes after a Network Sonar Discovery is run. For information on enabling WMI, see Test WMI services using WBEMTest.

There are two ways to toggle Hyper-V monitoring; via the Manage Nodes page, and through the Virtualization Summary resource.

Warning: If Hyper-V polling is disabled, all historical data will be lost. To retain historical data, use the Virtualization Summary method and select Unmanage.
