The module will leverage enhancements included in the latest version of Orion Network Performance Monitor (Orion) platform v. 8.5. Orion VoIP Monitor will be previewed in SolarWinds booth #1237 at Networkers at Cisco Live conference held in Anaheim, Calif. July 23 through July 26.
With the new Orion VoIP Monitor module, SolarWinds will help network engineers overcome the biggest challenges faced in VoIP deployments: concern over call quality, the need for expertise with new, unfamiliar technologies, and the ability to diagnose, predict and resolve complex network problems that can affect voice data across Wide Area Networks (WANs). Orion VoIP Monitor is designed for network professionals who need to know exactly how VoIP traffic is performing on their WAN. Orion VoIP Monitor uses Cisco's IP Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to collect network performance statistics including MOS, jitter, network latency, packet loss, and other important VoIP Quality of Service (QoS) metrics.
